About the area

Les Ménuires spreads 120 km of marked pistes across a wide, mostly gentle basin: 73 km of blue and 9 km of green mean 69% of the terrain (83 km) is easy, and 30 short easy runs sit right next to a lift base. Nine magic carpets handle first turns, which also makes the area workable for families with small children. Stronger skiers are not left out: 19 km, or 16%, is black, expert or freeride, including 9 km of marked freeride.

The ski area runs from 1385 m to 2838 m, with 1013 m of vertical on a single descent and a longest run of 4952 m. Thirty-three lifts serve it, including six gondolas and a cable car, so small kids can avoid chairlift loading, plus a funicular, 11 chairlifts and five platters. Cross-country skiers have 21 km of nordic trails.
