About the area

Lagazuoi – 5 Torri is a red-run area: of its roughly 34 km of marked pistes, about 17 km are red and 11 km blue, with no black, expert or freeride terrain at all. That makes it a solid choice for confident intermediates who want to keep moving on steeper groomers, and a poor fit for experts looking for a challenge. Beginners are also not well served, since only about 32 percent of the pistes are green or blue, and families with small children should note that two of the lifts are a gondola and a cable car rather than easy-loading chairlifts.

Eight lifts serve the area: one gondola, one cable car, five chairlifts and one platter. Skiing runs between 1,725 m and 2,727 m, so the upper slopes hold snow reasonably well. The area is part of the wider Cortina d'Ampezzo region in the Dolomites.
