Courchevel offers about 151 km of pistes, and the balance leans clearly towards easier skiing: 57% of the network is green or blue, some 86 km in total, with 32 km green and 54 km blue. Beginners get 10 magic carpets for first turns and 53 short easy runs right next to a lift base, so there is no need to commit to long descents early on. Families benefit from 10 gondola and cable-car lifts, which avoid chairlift loading with small children. Strong skiers will find 45 km of red and 18 km of black, expert and freeride terrain (12%), including 2 km marked freeride — enough for a week, less so for a season.

The area runs from 1257 m to 2694 m, with 849 m of vertical on a single run and a longest run of 4344 m. Access is via 59 lifts in total, among them 8 gondolas, 2 cable cars, 2 funiculars and 17 chairlifts. There are also 15 km of cross-country trails and 2 km of floodlit piste.
