About the area

Zoncolan in Friuli offers about 26 km of pistes, split into roughly 2 km green, 9 km blue, 12 km red and 4 km black. With 41% of the terrain green or blue (11 km) and nine magic carpets, it works well for first-timers and children, and the 19 short easy runs beside a lift base make repetition simple. Families also benefit from the cable car, which avoids chairlift loading with small kids. Experts will find it limited: black and freeride terrain is only 4 km (15%), and the longest vertical on a single run is 468 m.

The ski area runs from 889 m up to 1962 m, so the top half holds snow better than the base. Sixteen lifts serve the slopes: one cable car, five chairlifts, one platter and nine magic carpets. The longest run measures 2184 m, and there are 2 km of cross-country trails.
