Zermatt - Breuil-Cervinia is a red-run area: 148 km of the 208 km mapped are red, against 44 km of green and blue (21%) and 16 km rated black or freeride (8%). That balance makes it strongest for confident intermediates who want distance. Beginners are not shut out — 11 magic carpets and 17 short easy runs sit next to lift bases — but the easy terrain is a small share and scattered. Families should note that 20 of the lifts are gondolas or cable cars, so no chairlift loading with small children. Experts get 16 km of steep terrain and one run with 738 m of vertical.

The ski area runs from 1,558 m to 3,872 m, a span of 2,314 m, which keeps snow reliable high up. Sixty-three lifts serve it, including 22 chairlifts, 12 gondolas, 8 cable cars and 3 funiculars. The longest descent measures 5,366 m. The 2026/27 season is planned from 1 November to 3 May; the operator lists 200 km of pistes.
