Winterpol in Karpacz is a small Sudety area built around easy skiing: about 8 km of pistes, of which 67% (6 km) are green or blue, with 2 km red and 1 km black — just 10% of the terrain. That mix makes it a solid choice for beginners, helped by three magic carpets for first turns and seven short easy runs grouped next to a lift base. Families can ski here, though the layout is compact rather than varied. Experts should look elsewhere: the black terrain is minimal and the biggest continuous vertical on one run is 262 m.

Ten lifts serve the slopes — two chairlifts, two T-bars, two platters, one mixed lift and three carpets — so laps are short and repeatable. Skiing runs between 715 m and 1350 m, with a maximum vertical of 262 m and a longest run of 1039 m. Roughly 1 km of piste is floodlit for evening skiing.
