Villard de Lans - Corrençon is a beginner and family area first: 69% of the 54 km of pistes are green or blue (38 km), and only 9% are black or freeride terrain. Five magic carpets cover first steps and 13 short easy runs sit right next to a lift base, so children can repeat laps without long traverses. Strong skiers will find it thin: about 5 km of black and expert terrain, and the longest continuous vertical on a single run is 554 m. Confident intermediates, though, have 12 km of red pistes to work through.

The ski area runs from 1107 m to 2055 m, so the lower slopes depend on conditions and the upper lifts are the safer bet. Twenty-five lifts serve it, including two gondolas, useful with small children since there is no chairlift loading, plus six chairlifts and nine drag lifts. The longest run measures 4689 m.
