About the area

Val Comelico – Padola is a small Dolomite area with about 23 km of pistes, and most of it is gentle: 13 km, or 58%, are graded green or blue. Three magic carpets handle first turns, so beginners and families have a place to start, though the choice of easy terrain beyond the learning zone stays limited. There are 4 km of red runs for intermediates and 3 km of black or freeride terrain (13%) — enough for a look, not enough for a dedicated expert trip.

Six lifts serve the slopes: one chair lift, two platters and the three carpets, so queues and options are both modest. The skiing runs between 1,211 m and 1,940 m, altitudes that make snow conditions worth checking before you travel. The area belongs to Drei Zinnen – Tre Cime, and 21 km of cross-country trails are a real reason to come.
