Szczyrk Mountain Resort in the Beskidy range is mainly intermediate terrain: of the 19 km of pistes, 12 km are blue and about 5 km red, so cruisers on easy-to-moderate slopes get the most out of it. Experts will run out of options quickly — only around 1 km, or 8%, is black, and the biggest vertical on a single run is 390 m. Beginners can manage, since 65% of the runs are green or blue, but there is just one short easy run by a lift base. Families should note that only one lift is a gondola, the rest being chairlifts and surface lifts.
The single base is Szczyrk at 500 m, reached by ski bus, with about 3 km to the lifts. Nine lifts serve slopes between 590 and 1239 m; the longest run measures 1864 m. Around 3 km of piste is floodlit for evening skiing.
