Super Besse spreads 58.08 km of piste across the Massif Central, and 64% of it is green or blue — 37 km of genuinely easy skiing. Only 11% is black or freeride terrain, roughly 7 km, and the longest vertical on a single run is 463 m, so strong skiers will exhaust the place fast. For beginners and families the balance works: 38 short easy runs start next to a lift base, and 6 magic carpets handle first steps.

There are 37 lifts, dominated by 20 platters, plus 7 chairlifts, 1 gondola and 1 cable car — those two enclosed lifts let small children ride without chairlift loading. The skiing runs from 1225 m to 1831 m, a low ceiling to keep in mind, and the longest descent measures 3024 m. Add 6.01 km of cross-country trails and 12.57 km of floodlit piste for evening laps.
