About the area

Soriška planina is a small area of about 5 km of pistes, and most of it — around 4 km — is graded red. That makes it essentially an intermediate hill: skiers who are comfortable on steeper groomed terrain will find enough to fill a day, while true beginners have only about 1 km of green and blue runs, a single short easy slope by a lift base. There is no black, expert or freeride terrain at all, and the longest run drops just 208 m, so strong skiers will run out of challenge quickly.

Five lifts serve the slopes: four platters and one chair. The base sits at 1,283 m and the top at 1,526 m, so vertical is short and the whole area is skied in laps. The longest run measures 965 m.
