About the area

Silvretta Montafon has about 102 km of pistes, and more than half of it — 55 km, or 54% — is graded green or blue, so beginners and cautious intermediates get plenty of room. Five magic carpets cover first turns, and 36 short easy runs sit right next to a lift base, which suits families with children learning. There are 32 km of red and 15 km of black, expert and freeride terrain (14%), enough for a few days of stronger skiing but not a whole week if steep runs are your main reason to come.

The area spans 689 m to 2420 m, so the lower slopes depend on the weather while the upper mountain holds snow better. Of 37 lifts, 10 are gondolas or cable cars, useful with small children who struggle with chairlift loading. The longest run measures 3564 m and the biggest single vertical is 682 m. Cross-country skiers have 24 km of trails, and 13 km of piste is floodlit.
