About the area

See is a red-run area: 24 km of its 33 km are graded red, so it suits confident intermediates who want to cover ground on the same slopes all day. Only 7 km are blue and 0.24 km green, which is 22 percent of the terrain, so beginners have a base to learn on but will run out of easy options quickly — three magic carpets and nine short easy runs near a lift base cover first turns. Experts get little: 2 km of black terrain, 6 percent of the area. Families can manage, helped by three gondolas that avoid chairlift loading with small children.

The area runs from 1037 m to 2566 m, so upper slopes hold snow better than the valley return. Nine lifts serve it: three gondolas, two chairlifts, one platter and three magic carpets. The longest run is 2363 m; the biggest vertical on a single run is 513 m. About 6 km of piste is floodlit for night skiing.
