About the area
Savognin in Graubünden is a mid-sized area: about 48 km of pistes, of which roughly 25 km (51%) are green or blue and 21 km red. That mix makes it a solid choice for beginners and improving intermediates, helped by a magic carpet for first turns and one short easy run right by a lift base. Families get two gondolas, so small children avoid chairlift loading. The area runs from 1168 m up to 2699 m, so the upper slopes hold snow better than the valley floor. The longest descent measures about 2503 m. There are also 17 km of cross-country trails and 2 km of floodlit piste.
