Horní Domky – Lysá Hora is a compact area: about 9 km of pistes, half of it green and blue (5 km), roughly 4 km red and 1 km black, which is 10% of the terrain. Beginners can get going here — there are four short easy runs next to a lift base — but the share of black terrain and the size of the hill mean it works better as a first-week area with care than as a dedicated learners' zone. Experts will run out of options quickly with just one kilometre of black. The natural fit is confident intermediates.
Eight lifts serve the slopes: six platters and two chairlifts. The area spans 651 m to 1308 m, giving 587 m of vertical, and the longest descent measures about 2 km on a single run — enough for continuous top-to-bottom skiing rather than short laps.
