Paganella is a red-run mountain: of 34 km of pistes, 21 km are red, 8 km blue and just over 1 km green. That makes it a solid intermediate area, where confident skiers can lap steady descents all day. Experts get little: only about 1 km, or 4%, is black or freeride-graded, and the longest single vertical on one run is 686 m. Beginners are workable but with caveats — 30% of the terrain (10 km) is green or blue, there is one magic carpet for first steps, and 12 short easy runs sit next to a lift base.
The area runs from 1,024 m up to 2,123 m, so lower slopes depend on the weather. Sixteen lifts serve it: 4 gondolas, 11 chairlifts and the carpet — the gondolas help with small children, though the carpet count is thin. The longest run measures 3,074 m, and 2 km of piste are floodlit for evening skiing.
