Ordino Arcalís

About the area

Ordino-Arcalís is a compact area: 26 km of pistes, of which 13 km are red, so the core of the skiing suits confident intermediates. Beginners are well served too — 41% of the runs are green or blue (11 km), there is a magic carpet for first steps and two short easy runs next to a lift base. Families get an easy start thanks to that carpet and a gondola, which avoids chairlift loading with small children. Experts will find it thin: only 3 km (11%) is black, expert or freeride terrain, including 2 km of marked freeride, and the longest vertical on a single run is 601 m.

The ski area runs from 1,941 m to 2,625 m, a high starting altitude that helps snow cover. Twelve lifts serve it: one gondola, four chairlifts, four platters, two drag lifts and one magic carpet. The longest run measures 2,314 m.
