About the area

Megève spreads 141 km of pistes across the Evasion Mont Blanc area, and the balance leans to easy and mid-level skiing: 46% of the runs are green or blue (66 km), with 23 km green and 42 km blue, plus 54 km of red. Beginners get 2 magic carpets and 31 short easy runs next to a lift base, and families benefit from 10 gondola and cable-car lifts, so small children never have to load a chairlift. Experts should set expectations: only 22 km is black, expert or freeride terrain (15%), including 8 km of marked freeride and 13 km of black.

The 55 lifts include 18 chairlifts, 19 platters and a funicular. The area runs from 819 m to 2370 m, so lower slopes depend on conditions; ski higher when it is mild. The longest run is 3299 m and the biggest vertical on one run is 641 m. There are also 19 km of cross-country trails.
