Master Ski in Podhale is a small, gentle area: about 6 km of pistes, of which 75% (5 km) are green or blue and 1 km is red. There is nothing black, no expert or freeride terrain at all, and the longest single descent gives only 118 m of vertical, so strong skiers will exhaust it quickly. For first turns it works well: two magic carpets handle absolute beginners, and six short easy runs finish next to a lift base, which shortens the walking with children. Families should note the terrain is limited once kids progress.
Seven lifts serve the hill: two chairlifts, two platters, one rope tow and the two carpets, so queues spread out on a compact slope. The area runs low, from 566 m to 684 m, so snow depends on the season rather than altitude. The longest run measures 1,116 m.
