Mariborsko Pohorje offers about 35 km of pistes, and 59% of them (21 km) are green or blue, so the balance clearly favours beginners and cautious intermediates. Two magic carpets handle first turns, and five short easy runs sit right by a lift base, which keeps early days simple for children. Only 3 km, or 9%, is black or freeride terrain, and the biggest vertical on a single run is 514 m, so committed experts will run out of challenges quickly. There are also 11 km of red pistes for those who want more speed.

The slopes run from 326 m up to 1,316 m, a low base that makes snow conditions variable, so check the report before travelling. Sixteen lifts serve the hill: one gondola (no chairlift loading with small kids), six chairlifts, seven surface lifts and the two carpets. The longest run measures 3,170 m, and 2 km of piste is floodlit for evening skiing.
