About the area

Les 7 Laux offers about 55 km of marked pistes in the Belledonne range, and just over half of it (28 km, 51%) is green or blue, so it works well for people still building confidence. There are 10 km of green and 18 km of blue runs, plus 18 short easy runs sitting right next to a lift base, which makes lapping simple. Stronger skiers get 16 km of red and 11 km of black or freeride terrain (19%), enough for a few days rather than a whole week. Families should note there is only one magic carpet for first steps.

The area is split between Prapoutel, Pipay and Le Pleynet, on either side of the massif. Skiing runs from 1332 m to 2371 m, with 918 m of vertical on a single run and a longest descent of 5416 m. Twenty-three lifts serve it, including eight chairlifts, six drag lifts, five platters and two T-bars.
