Laax in Graubünden spreads 152.23 km of marked pistes across a wide spread of difficulty: 57.39 km blue, 53.13 km red and 11.88 km black, plus 27.67 km of marked freeride terrain. Beginners are well served, with 38% of pistes green or blue (58 km), three magic carpets for first turns and 23 short easy runs right next to a lift base. Strong skiers get 40 km of black, expert and freeride terrain (26% of the area) and one run with 1010 m of vertical in a single descent. Families benefit from the lift mix.

The area runs from 1081 m to 2973 m, so most of the skiing sits high. Of the 37 lifts, 15 are gondolas or cable cars, which means no chairlift loading with small children; there are also 7 chairlifts and various surface lifts.
