La Bresse - Hohneck is a small Vosges area built around easy skiing: of about 23 km of pistes, 2 km are green and 12 km blue, so 62% of the terrain is green or blue. There is nothing black, freeride or expert-marked, and the longest single descent gives only 280 m of vertical, so strong skiers will run out of challenge quickly. Two magic carpets and ten short easy runs beside a lift base make it a sensible place to learn; families should note that beyond those carpets the beginner infrastructure is limited.
Fifteen lifts serve the slopes: six chairlifts, seven drag lifts and the two carpets. The skiing runs between 875 m and 1346 m, which is low, and the longest run measures 1507 m. Around 8 km of red pistes add variety, and 9 km of trails are floodlit for evening skiing.
