About the area

Kühtai is an intermediate's hill. Of its 34 km of pistes, 23 km are red and 6 km black — 17% of the terrain — while only about 3 km (10%) are green or blue. That mix rules it out as a place to learn: there are 3 magic carpets and five short easy runs by a lift base, but nothing to progress onto afterwards. Experts will find the 6 km of black and freeride terrain limited, with 501 m of vertical on the longest single descent. Families can make it work thanks to the carpets and a gondola that avoids chairlift loading with small children.

Skiing runs between 1,938 m and 2,507 m, so snow cover is usually reliable without descending to a valley base. Thirteen lifts serve the area: 6 chairlifts, 3 T-bars, 1 gondola and 3 carpets. The longest run measures 2,408 m. There are also 6 km of cross-country trails and 5 km of floodlit piste.
