About the area

Kronplatz in the Dolomites is built around wide, well-groomed slopes: 47% of the 76 km are green or blue (36 km), with 22 short easy runs sitting right next to a lift base, so beginners can repeat the same pitch without long traverses. A magic carpet covers first steps, and 21 gondolas or cable cars mean small children never have to load a moving chairlift — a real plus for families. Experts get 14 km of black and freeride terrain (19%), enough for a few days but not the main draw.

The skiable range runs from 924 m to 2272 m, and the mountain is served by 26 lifts, mostly gondolas from the valley. The longest run measures 4254 m and the biggest single descent drops 1259 m. There are also 5 km of cross-country trails and a short 0.35 km lit stretch. Kronplatz is part of Dolomiti Superski.
