About the area

Kouty is a small area: about 6 km of pistes, split roughly 3 km blue and 3 km red. That mix makes it a place for confident intermediates who want to lap the same slopes rather than cover distance. There is no black, expert or freeride terrain at all, so strong skiers will run out of ideas quickly. Beginners can get started here, but only with caveats: blue and easier runs are 42% of the total and there is just one short easy run next to a lift base.

Five lifts serve the hill: one chairlift plus two T-bars, a platter and a rope tow. The slopes run from 568 m to 1093 m, giving 392 m of vertical, and the longest single descent is 2125 m. Cross-country skiers have 23 km of trails in the area.
