Buková hora is a small Czech area in the Jeseníky & Beskydy region with about 8 km of pistes: 1 km green, 4 km blue and 3 km red. That means 59% of the terrain is green or blue, so early intermediates and confident learners have room to work, and four short easy runs sit next to a lift base. There is no black, expert or freeride terrain at all, so strong skiers will exhaust it quickly. Complete beginners should note the mix leans towards blue and red rather than true nursery slopes.
The slopes run from 553 m to 954 m, giving 360 m of vertical, and the longest run measures 1671 m. Four lifts serve the hill: two chairlifts plus a T-bar and a platter. With a low base altitude, plan around cold spells and a solid snow report. Nordic skiers get 75 km of cross-country trails in the surrounding area.
