About the area

Harrachov is a small area in the Giant Mountains: about 6 km of pistes, with 52% of them green or blue (roughly 3 km) and four short easy runs grouped near a lift base. That makes it workable for beginners, but with caveats — 15% of the terrain is black or freeride, so easy and hard runs sit close together. Experts will find it thin: only about 1 km of black terrain and a maximum vertical of 297 m on a single run. Families are not the target here.

Seven lifts serve the hill: two chairlifts, three platters and two rope tows, so progression from the practice tows to the main runs is straightforward. The slopes run from 669 m to 1,021 m, a modest altitude that makes snow cover dependent on the weather. The longest descent measures 1,913 m, and 1 km of piste is floodlit for evening skiing.
