GrandValira spreads 136 km of marked pistes across a mix that leans easy: 52% of the terrain is green or blue, some 71 km in all, with 46 km of red for intermediates working on their turns. Two magic carpets handle first steps and around 40 short easy runs sit next to a lift base, so beginners and families can repeat the same slope without long traverses. Experts get less: 14% of the area is black or freeride terrain, about 18 km, and the biggest single descent drops 771 m.

The area runs from 1,674 m to 2,618 m, so snow depends on the season rather than height alone. Fifty-four lifts serve it, including 28 chairlifts and 6 gondolas or cable cars — useful when small children can't manage a moving chair. The longest run measures just over 5 km.
