About the area

Golm in Vorarlberg is a compact area: about 28 km of piste, of which 16 km are blue and 9 km red. That mix, 58% green and blue (17 km), plus 11 short easy runs next to a lift base, makes it a sound choice for beginners and people still building confidence on red terrain. Experts will run out of options quickly: only about 2 km, or 6%, is black or freeride-graded, and the biggest vertical on a single run is 597 m. Families work here with one caveat: three of the nine lifts are gondolas, so small children avoid chairlift loading, but four chairlifts remain.

The area runs from 650 m up to 2,103 m, so the lower slopes depend on conditions while the upper ones hold snow better. Nine lifts serve it, including three gondolas, four chairlifts, a platter and a rope tow. The longest descent measures around 3 km.
