Fanningberg is a small area built around easy skiing: 68% of the 22 km of pistes are green or blue, about 15 km in total, and six short easy runs sit right next to a lift base, so first-timers and cautious returners can repeat the same slope without long traverses. Roughly 16% is black or freeride terrain, around 4 km, which is too little to keep strong skiers busy for more than a day. Families will find plenty of gentle ground, though the mix is limited once children progress.

Five lifts serve the mountain: two chairlifts, two drag lifts and one T-bar. The skiing runs from 1,493 m at the bottom to 2,090 m at the top, giving 524 m of vertical on the longest single descent, and the longest run measures 3,542 m. The relatively high base helps snow cover through the core winter months.
