About the area

Espace Diamant spreads about 199 km of pistes across Savoie, and two thirds of that — 134 km, or 67% — is green or blue. With 28 km of green and 105 km of blue runs, plus 73 short easy runs sitting next to a lift base, it suits beginners and mixed-ability groups who want to ski together. Families are well served by 5 magic carpets and three enclosed lifts (2 gondolas and a cable car), so small children never have to load a chairlift. Strong skiers get 47 km of red, but only 11 km of black and 6 km of marked freeride — 9% in total.

The area runs from 948 m to 2048 m, so the lower slopes depend on cold weather; ski the upper sectors when snow is thin. There are 85 lifts, including 28 chairlifts and 40 platters. The longest descent measures 4229 m and the biggest vertical on one run is 770 m. Cross-country skiers have 41 km of tracks.
