About the area

Titlis offers 42 km of marked pistes, and the mix leans towards easy and mid-range skiing: 17 km, about 40%, are green or blue, while 20 km are red. Only 4 km, or 9%, are black or freeride terrain, and the longest vertical on a single run is 614 m, so committed experts will run out of challenges quickly. Beginners are well served by a magic carpet and 14 short easy runs sitting right next to a lift base, which also makes the area workable for families.

Thirty lifts serve the mountain, including eight gondolas and cable cars, so small children can be loaded without chairlift stress. The ski area runs from 997 m at the valley floor to 3039 m at the top, which puts the upper slopes at reliable altitude. The longest single descent measures 2510 m.
