Deštné v Orlických horách is a small area built around easy skiing: 6 km of pistes in total, of which 69% (4 km) are green and blue. Five short easy runs sit next to a lift base, and a magic carpet covers first turns on skis, so beginners and anyone returning to the sport are well served. Families should note there is only one magic carpet. Experts will find little here: black and freeride terrain adds up to 1 km (19%), and the longest vertical on a single run is 199 m.

Six lifts serve the hill: two chairlifts, a T-bar, a platter, a rope tow and the carpet. The slopes run between 645 m and 868 m, with the longest descent measuring 1089 m. There is 6 km of floodlit piste for evening skiing, and 159 km of cross-country trails in the surrounding hills.
