Chopok Jasná in the Slovak Tatras & Fatra region offers about 30 km of pistes, and 70% of them are green or blue — some 21 km of easy terrain. Five magic carpets cover first turns, and 17 short easy runs sit right next to a lift base, so beginners and families can repeat laps without long traverses. Intermediates get 6 km of red pistes. Nineteen lifts serve the mountain: 4 gondolas or cable cars, which means no chairlift loading with small children, plus 7 chairlifts, 2 platters, 1 funicular and the carpets. The area runs from 943 m to 1,999 m, the longest run measures 2,920 m, and 5 km of piste is floodlit for evening skiing.
