Boí Taüll
About the area
Boí Taüll in the Catalan Pyrenees is a mid-sized area: about 34 km of pistes, with reds dominating at 14 km. That makes it best suited to confident intermediates. Beginners can get going, but with reservations: green and blue runs make up 31% of the network (11 km), there is a single magic carpet for first turns and only two short easy runs beside a lift base. Nine lifts serve the mountain: six chairlifts, two platters and the magic carpet, so most laps are done from chairs. The slopes run high, from 2,039 m to 2,747 m, with 690 m of vertical and a longest descent of 3,350 m.
