Bödele

About the area

Bödele is a small Vorarlberg area with 21 km of pistes split almost evenly between easy and moderate terrain: about 10 km of blue and 1 km of green make up half the network, with roughly 10 km of red runs and just 1 km of black, about 4% of the total. Beginners are reasonably served but with caveats: 13 short easy runs sit next to a lift base, which is handy for first turns, though the choice stays limited. Experts will run out of options quickly, and there is little here built around families.

Lifts are mostly surface: four T-bars, six platters, one rope tow and a single chair lift, twelve in total. The area runs from 813 m to 1438 m, a vertical of 625 m, so snow depends on the season at this height. The longest descent measures about 3 km, with 740 m of vertical on one run, and 6 km of cross-country trails complete the offer.
