Artesina

Artesina is a mid-sized Piedmont area with 38 km of marked pistes, and the balance leans clearly to red runs: 19 km of them, against 11 km of easy green and blue terrain (30% of the area). That makes it a solid pick for confident intermediates. Beginners are catered for, with four magic carpets for first turns and seven short easy runs next to a lift base, but the easy share is limited, so progression means moving onto reds fairly soon. Experts have little here: only about 9% of the pistes are black or freeride terrain.
The slopes run from 801 m to 2090 m, with the longest single descent 2970 m and the biggest vertical on one run 634 m. Thirteen lifts serve the area, mostly chairlifts (eight), plus one platter and the four carpets, so queues and walking between sectors stay manageable.
