About the area

Arosa Lenzerheide spreads 163 km of piste across two valleys, and the balance is clearly tilted towards easy and cruising terrain: 95 km, or 58%, is green or blue, with a further 50 km of red. Beginners have five magic carpets and around 60 short easy runs next to a lift base, and families benefit from eight gondolas and cable cars, so small children never have to load a chairlift. Experts get less: 19 km of black, expert and freeride terrain (11%), including 4 km of marked freeride.

The area runs from 1,239 m up to 2,853 m, so the higher sectors hold snow well, and the longest descent measures 3,277 m with 624 m of vertical on a single run. Forty-nine lifts, mostly chairlifts and T-bars, link the two sides. There are also 58 km of cross-country trails and 11 km of floodlit piste.
