Arabba's 45 km of mapped pistes lean towards intermediates: 14 km are red and 13 km blue, so confident skiers who like sustained descents get the most out of it. Beginners can start here with reservations — only 29% of the terrain is green or blue, though three magic carpets cover first steps. Families face the same trade-off, helped by four gondola or cable-car lifts that avoid chairlift loading with small children. Experts should look elsewhere: just 6 km, or 13%, is black or freeride terrain.

Sixteen lifts serve the area, including three gondolas, one cable car, nine chairlifts and the three carpets, so uphill capacity is good for the size. Skiing runs between 1,609 m and 2,485 m, high enough to hold snow reasonably well in mid-winter. Arabba is part of Dolomiti Superski, so a regional pass opens up far more terrain than the local 45 km.
